#2025-207823/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch/W2:
At 0055 hours, multiple callers called to report hearing five to fifteen shots North of the 5400 block of 30th Avenue Southwest. Officers arrived and checked the area for evidence. Officers eventually located evidence at the 2800 block of Southwest Brandon Street. The evidence was photographed and recovered.
#2025-208749/South Precinct/Third Watch/R1:
At 1944 hours, Des Moines PD advised that they had PC for a Drive By shooting suspect and Assault 1. Suspect lives with family in Seattle. CRG set up surveillance on suspect house and confirmed he was home. CRG coordinated with Des Moines PD and family to have suspect exit the house unarmed where he was taken into custody. Des Moines PD arrived to take custody of suspect and impound suspect vehicle.
#2025-208900/South Precinct/Third Watch/R3:
At 2258 hours, calls started coming into 911 regarding shots having been fired at Rainier Avenue South and South Graham Street. A witness reported seeing a vehicle speed away from the scene east on South Graham Street. Officers located evidence just east of the intersection on South. Graham Street. From the evidence that was located indicating there was at least two shooters. No victims or property damage was located. South Precinct Officers processed the scene and GVRU was notified of the incident.
#2025-208766/West Precinct/Third Watch/M3:
At 2000 hours, West Precinct 3rd watch officers were conducting an on-duty narcotics operation at 3rd Avenue and Pike Street. Probable Cause was developed and after a struggle, three suspects were taken into custody. The search incident to arrest yielded over 40 individual packed fentanyl doses, some crystal meth and a stolen handgun. A total of six felony charges were requested for two of the suspects and the third was released after being interviewed.
