#2025-210547/East Precinct/Second Watch/C1:
At 1208 hours, officers responded to a call for service at drug store located in C1 for a possible robbery. Officers quickly arrived in the area and began their investigation. It was determined that the suspect, who is a known shoplifter entered the store and got into an argument with security. The suspect brandished a box cutter and chased security around the store, cutting the victim in the hand. The victim was able to deploy pepper spray that stopped the attack, and the suspect fled the store. K-9 arrived, and a track was conducted, however, due to said delay, the track led to negative results. Suspect is outstanding.
#2025-211081/South Precinct/Third Watch/Q2:
At 2014 hours, 911 received a call stating a male was pistol whipped and bear maced. Officers arrived on scene along with SFD. According to the reporting party, the victim walked into the area with a laceration on his head, unknown where he was prior. Victim said he didn’t know who assaulted him or what happened exactly only that his backpack was stolen. He believed he was pistol whipped and maybe shot with a pellet gun. Another individual on scene provided a handwritten note to SFD which was transferred to SPD. It implied the “victim” was involved with an RV associated with nefarious activity which may have resulted in the assault.
#2025-210993/West Precinct/Second Watch/K1:
At 1836 hours, officers while working the Morgan Wallen concert observed a DV assault. When they contacted the female suspect, she assaulted both officers. The suspect was placed in custody, where she continued to resist the officers and attempting to kick them. The two officers used tremendous restraint and were able to get her into the security office. The incident and assault on officers were screened with. The suspect was booked on the two Assault 3 charges and requested the additional charges of DV Assault 4.
