#2025-226132/West Precinct/First Watch/K2:

At 1028 hours, several fires were lit between near 8 Av/I-5, 6/James, City Hall Park. Federal Police began following the suspect at 4/Washington and attempted contact. The suspect fled on foot. Federal Police pursued. SPD apprehended suspect at 2/Main with no reportable use of force and no injuries. Suspect was transported to KCJ and declined for Mental Health. ABS and Media notified.

#2025-226898/East Precinct/Third Watch/E1:

At 2157 hours, a caller reported an intoxicated male walking on Broadway Ave with a firearm in his hand. Officers developed a tactical plan, arrived, contacted, and detained the suspect. He was found to be a 17-year-old with prior robbery convictions, and his firearm was a Glock. Suspect was highly intoxicated. Arrested for VUFA, booked to YSC.  

#2025-226939/East Precinct/Third Watch/E2:

At 2244 hours, security for a business at Broadway and Pike called reporting a male threatening to shoot the security guards. The suspect had been throwing glass bottles at a wall, told security he had a firearm, and made direct threats. Officers arrived on scene and located security talking to the suspect. Officers attempted to detain the suspect, who began fighting with the four responding officers. Police used a taser to arrest the suspect. A loaded Glock firearm was found on his person. Suspect transported to HMC for clearance prior to KCJ.

#2025-226947/East Precinct/Third Watch/E1:

At 2258 hours, multiple callers reported seeing a physical fight with a firearm involved at Melrose and Thomas. Officers responded to the scene, as additional callers reported that the armed people were physically fighting with others and using OC spray on multiple victims. Responding officers found that the suspects fled prior to their arrival and investigated. They learned that a vehicle approached a stationary vehicle, and two suspects armed with firearms pulled the victims out of their vehicle, threatened them at gunpoint, stole items from them, attempted to carjack them, and subsequently used OC on them. Incident screened with robbery.
