At 0155 hours, officers responded to the area of 1 Ave and Vine St for a shots call. Several callers reported multiple shots with yelling and people running. Officers responded and found evidence. Circumstances leading up to the incident are unknown. Screened with GVRU.
#2025-227108/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch/W2:
At 0217 hours, victim is an UBER driver and was driving a passenger during the Robbery. The driver was driving a client at the 7000 BLK of Lincoln Wy SW. The suspects drove up and cut the victims off with their truck. Two suspects got out of the truck with handguns and pointed it at the victims. The suspects demanded everything, and the driver complied. The suspects drove off northbound. The same suspects committed another armed Robbery in West Seattle (see case# 25-227103). The truck was located at 59 Ave SW/Alki Ave SW. When the three suspects saw police, they exited the truck and got inside other vehicles. The suspects scattered in different vehicles. The truck that was used in the Robbery was towed.
#2025-227103/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch/W2:
At 0210 hours, the victim was stopped at 35 Ave SW/SW Thistle St. The suspects pulled in front of the victim and blocked him in. Two males exited the truck and put the victim at gunpoint. The suspects forced the victim out of his vehicle and demanded money. The suspects grabbed the victim’s property. The suspects got back inside their truck and left. The suspects committed another Robbery in West Seattle within a short period of time (case# 25-227108).
#2025-227442/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch/D1:
At 1238 hours, while conducting proactive patrol in the Belltown neighborhood, Officers developed probable cause to arrest a subject for Investigation of VUCSA. 40.8g fentanyl and 12.7g crack cocaine was recovered, and $216 was seized. Suspect also had two felony warrants for dealing drugs.
#2025-227548/North Precinct/Second Watch/L1:
At 1442 hours, officers responded to a fight involving a knife near 125th St and 28th Ave NE. The call reported a victim being attacked with a knife with injuries unknown. Officers contacted the victim, who had superficial lacerations to the neck. The suspect fled before police arrival. Probable cause was established for Assault 1. The suspect was located shortly afterward, arrested, and booked into King County Jail. Investigation revealed the suspect attacked the victim because he was Moroccan. Sergeant screened the bias incident.
#2025-227761/South Precinct/Second Watch/R2:
At 1800 hours, officers were monitoring the Rainier Vista Boys & Girls Club, which was hosting a block party, when they heard multiple gunshots coming from the area of Martin Luther King Jr. Way South and South Columbian Way. Officers observed a suspect vehicle fleeing at high speed and initiated a pursuit. No one was injured during the shooting. Officers briefly lost sight of the vehicle but quickly reacquired it abandoned in dead-end road. Officers flooded the area, leading to the rapid apprehension of two suspects who were attempting to enter an Uber nearby. A track along the suspects’ flight path led to the recovery of a backpack containing a .223 caliber short-barreled rifle. Casings of the same caliber were located at the shooting scene. The suspect vehicle was confirmed stolen out of Seattle earlier that morning. Both suspects were booked into King County Jail on multiple charges. GVRU detectives responded to assist with evidence and conduct interviews. The investigation remains ongoing to determine the suspects’ roles in the shooting and any connections to other incidents.
#2025-227877/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch/W1:
At 2030 hours, officers responded to the area. When officers attempted to stop the suspect vehicle, it fled, initiating a pursuit. A Pursuit Intervention Technique (PIT) was successfully executed, and both occupants were taken into custody. The driver, an adult female, was arrested for eluding and transported to Harborview Medical Center for medical issues before being booked into King County Jail. The passenger, an adult female with multiple outstanding warrants, was transported to SPD Headquarters, interviewed by GVRU detectives, and booked into King County Jail on her warrants. The suspect vehicle was impounded to the Vehicle Processing Room pending a search warrant. Officers returned to the original scene and recovered a single 9mm shell casing. Investigation determined that the suspect and victim are known to each other and have an ongoing history.
