#2025-243460/East Precinct/Second Watch/G1:
At 1500 hours, a suspect became irate that someone had stolen his bike. After walking around the complex knocking on random doors, an altercation occurred with a resident. The suspect then pulled the resident from his apartment, beat him with a baseball bat, and drug him to the elevator. After taking the elevator down to the ground level, the suspect then drug the victim out onto the sidewalk, where he left him before going back into the building. SPD arrived, found the victim severely injured, and pursued the suspect when he fled from the rear of the building. K9 arrived on scene but was unable to locate the suspect. 222 and Homicide notified.
#2025-243476-North Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1500 hours, North Precinct and CRG monitored a large group of motorcyclists who were traversing the city. The group was approximately 200 plus. They began in the North Precinct and made their way to the East Precinct and finally South before leaving the city. There had been reports of the group blocking intersections, but when CRG began monitoring, the group stayed mobile. The group did run red lights, do wheelies and sometimes go into oncoming lanes, but there were no major issues. At the time of this SIR, they did not return to the city.
#2025-243888/West Precinct/Third Watch/K3:
At 2250 hours, CRG was conducting anti-crime operations in the area of 12/Jackson. While conducting the operation, they observed a suspect doing hand to hand transactions. When officers moved in to contact the suspect he immediately ran but was quickly caught. 34.4 grams of fentanyl, $4000, and a firearm were recovered as evidence.
