At 0210 hours, A witness called 911 to report a shooting call located at the 6900 BLK of Delridge Wy SW. The witness stated that he saw subjects get in some type of disagreement from inside and outside an SUV. The suspect was outside the vehicle and fired three shots in the air. The SUV and suspect left Northbound on Delridge Wy SW. Officers responded and located shell casings. Officers checked for video footage but didn’t locate any. The area checked clear of the suspects involved.
#2025-250093/North Precinct/Second Watch/U2:
At 1000 hours, GIU Detectives and North Patrol Officers conducted a joint Organized Retail Theft Operation at Victoria’s Secret in the University District. Detectives teamed with loss prevention representatives to identify and apprehend suspects. Three suspects were arrested. $2,282.85 in stolen merchandise was recovered. This was a team effort and could not have taken place without the hard work by GIU detectives, patrol, and partnership with the loss prevention employees at Victoria’s Secret.
