The Seattle Police Bias Crimes Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect who shot at an occupied home in July.
On July 6 at about 3:15 a.m., police responded to reports of a shooting in the 2800 block of NW 56th Street. An unknown suspect shot multiple times at the victim’s living room window while the victim was asleep in their home. The window displayed political depictions. The victim’s vehicle was also shot multiple times.
This is the second occurrence of the victim’s home being targeted in a shooting in under two years. In January of 2024, the same window was shot out where the political depictions were displayed.
The suspect fled the scene and was not located by responding officers.
