At 0124 hours, four subjects entered the store and concealed items to steal. One on the subjects concealed alcohol and when confronted at the door pulled up his shirt and stated he didn’t have any alcohol and showed a gun in his waistband. The subject then left in a vehicle.

At 0243 hours, complainants called 911 to report that they heard and even saw shots being fired at 9th Avenue/ Fir Street. Officers arrived but didn’t locate any casings or property damage. According to one witness the suspect shot at an apartment building, but officers didn’t locate any damage.

At 0220 hours, West Precinct Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Yesler Street/Occidental Avenue to investigate a reported armed robbery. When Officers arrived, they contacted the victim who directed them to a group of subjects walking away. Officers detained four subjects and identified them. Witness and victim show-ups were conducted and two of the subjects were positively identified. The subject identified as being armed with a firearm was in possession of several firearm magazines, however no firearm was located. Both subjects were arrested and booked into King County Jail for robbery.

At 0400 hours, in a building at the 600 block of John a victim was asleep in his apartment when a loud, shattering sound awakened him. He then found a bullet hole in the living room wall, which prompted him to call 911. Preliminary investigation believes that someone fired a small-caliber gun from the street up, striking the victim’s balcony and wall. No injury reported. No report of shots fired in the area. Officers processed the scene. GVRU was notified.
#2026-009377/East Precinct/Second Watch/E2
At 1749 hours, officers responded to a robbery call in the area of Broadway and East Pine Street near the local community college. The primary officer contacted the victim, while the other units were checking the area for the suspects. The victim advised that he was leaving the community college and was approaching Broadway, while a group of juveniles approached the victim. The juveniles started to physically assault the victim and forcefully took the victim’s hat. The juveniles then fled the scene towards Cal Anderson Park. Seattle Fire Department arrived on the scene and provided medical attention to the victim. The victim suffered minor injuries. The suspects were not located.
