#2026-29641/South Precinct/First Watch/O3:

At 0648 hours, a K9 officer observed an occupied SPD reported stolen vehicle at 8 AV SW/SW Roxbury traveling towards 509. The K9 officer followed the listed vehicle and once multiple officers from Southwest and South precincts arrived to his location, they stopped the listed vehicle as it pulled over at E Marginal Wy S/S Alaska St. The listed vehicle had two occupants who were detained. The listed vehicle was a verified stolen SPD vehicle. The driver had a large quantity of narcotics (approx. 75 grams of cocaine) individually wrapped along with a significant amount of cash on his person search incident to arrest. The front seat passenger was identified and released from the scene. The driver was placed under arrest for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle and VUCSA-Intent to Deliver. The listed vehicle was impounded to the South Precinct pending a search warrant for other property belonging to the suspect located inside the vehicle.

#2026-29858/East Precinct/Second Watch/E2:

At 1217 hours, officers responded to a planned “ICE OUT OF SEATTLE” rally at a local college near Broadway and East Pine Street. Approximately 2,000 to 3,000 participants gathered, blocking Broadway. The gathering was peaceful, featuring multiple guest speakers. About two hours later, most participants decided to march to the Federal Building. East and West Precinct units assisted with traffic control during the march. Upon reaching the Federal Building, a few speakers addressed the crowd, after which the participants dispersed.

#2026-29931/North Precinct/Second Watch/B1:

At 1348 hours, officers responded to a call for trespass and assault. the suspect assaulted an Officer, while they tried to detain him. A Taser was used by failed to deploy more than one dart. The suspect was taken into custody after additional Officers arrived.

#2026-30082/West Precinct/Second Watch/M2:

At 1616 hours, victim was walking in the downtown area when a group of teens threw either a water ballon or a bag of water at the victim. The victim was hit by the water. When the victim confronted the teens, they began mocking the victim’s accent and making “monkey faces”. Victim was concerned for his safety and fled the area. Victim believed he was targeted due to his race. Victim was able to capture an image of the suspects (uploaded into Axon Capture). Victim returned to his residence to report the incident. 213 and appropriate units were notified.

#2026-30225/North Precinct/Second Watch/N2:

At 1929 hours, Officers attempted to place an assault suspect in custody. The suspect broke free from control holds and hit an Officer with the handcuff attached to one of his wrists. The suspect was later booked into KCJ for Assault 3.

#2026-29860/North Precinct/Second Watch/N3:

At 1330 hours, members of the Traffic Section conducted a coordinated escort of an ICE OUT demonstration of approximately 1,200 people on Greenwood Ave between N 85th St and N 70th St. Event organizers obtained an event permit and coordinated a peaceful event.
