At 0106 hours, officers responded to an accidental shooting in a downtown hotel. Upon arrival, officers located a 33-year-old male with a GSW to the rear of his right upper leg. Subject claimed that as he was removing his belt with the holstered firearm, it discharged, striking him in the leg. Subject was transported to HMC with non-life-threatening injury by Medic One. The subject and firearm were both clear.
