#2026-84459/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch/W2:

At 0041 hours, 911 was contacted about a stabbing that occurred in the alley behind the 4400 block of 35 Av Sw, just to the west. Officers arrived to find an adult male with a single stab wound to the abdomen. They applied a chest seal and secured the scene for SFD. The male was taken to HMC via Medic One, with injuries that were said to be non-life threatening. The victim’s spouse said she witnessed the incident, in which three transients behind the building attacked her husband as they walked past the group, with one of them stabbing him in the stomach. The suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction on foot. Containment was requested, but a K-9 was not available. A subsequent area check for suspects was negative.

#2026-84865/West Precinct/Second Watch/K1:

At 1307 hours, officers responded to an assault in the West Precinct area. Upon arrival, officers found a victim with an injury to her forearm. Further investigation revealed that the suspect had an argument with the victim before stabbing her with a knife. Officers found a second victim nearby with a stab wound to the side of his friend. During the interview, the second victim reported that he saw his friend being stabbed and tried to defend her. The suspect fled the scene before the officers’ arrival. Both victims were transported to HMC for medical treatment.

#2026-84568/West Precinct/First Watch/K1:

At 0430 hours, the caller called 911 to report a shooting in the West Precinct area. Subsequently, the caller left the scene to pick up rideshares. SPD arrived a short time later and found shell casings at the scene. At that time, no property damage was found, and no victim came forward. Patrol officers processed the scene after GVRU screened the incident. Approximately two hours later, the same caller returned to the scene to find his vehicle had been shot at by the suspects. Officers interviewed the victim and processed the scene.

#2026-85161/West Precinct/Second Watch/Q3:

At 1850 hours, a subject assaulted two security guards at CPA during a UFC event. SPD officers contacted the subject outside of the venue and attempted to take him into custody. The subject resisted and struggled with officers. A taser was deployed resulting in a Type 2 UOF. The subject was taken into custody without further incident. No officers were injured. The subject was booked into KCJ. Incident screened with 214.
