Armed Felon Arrested in Capitol Hill

Seattle police officers and a Department of Corrections (DOC) officer arrested a 20-year-old man violating his probation and in possession of multiple guns in Capitol Hill this weekend.

On April 10 at about 10:40 p.m., patrol officers, working with the DOC, searched for an individual they knew to be active supervision for multiple crimes including armed robbery. Cops found the man in a car with three of his affiliates after tracking him via his ankle monitoring device to a parking lot in the 1000 block of 8th Avenue.

Police arrested the suspect and detained the people, who were identified and released by officers. Cops found the suspect in the driver’s seat of the car. When searching it, they recovered three handguns and cannabis paraphernalia.

The suspect, a convicted felon, is prohibited from having guns or contraband, a violation of his DOC supervision. Police booked him into SCORE jail.
