At 0254 hours, witnesses called 911 to report shots fired. Suspect was on foot shooting at a vehicle in the area. Officers arrived on scene and located multiple shell casings in the city street near the west sidewalk and further north on the opposite side of the street. Nightlife in the area was letting out. No property damage was located or injured citizens. Officers photographed the scene and collected evidence. GVRU notified.

At 0610 hours, the suspect entered the “Super Saver Foods”, bought an energy drink with cash then proceeded to take $30 of alcohol without paying. The suspect then punched security in the face when confronted and flashed a handgun before being driven away in a vehicle, no arrests made at this time. Video was not available at the time of investigation. Robbery Unit notified.
