At 0358 hours, the victim was approached at a bus stop by the suspect. Suspect told him to hand over his backpack and produced a gun. Victim attempted to flee and as he did the suspect fired shot towards him. Victim was uninjured and fled the scene to call 911. Suspect departed in unknown direction with the victim’s backpack. One shell casing recovered at the scene. Area check for suspect was negative.
