Drugs and Cash Recovered During Narcotics Bust

Seattle police officers arrested two people and recovered a large amount of drugs and cash following a narcotics operation in the Lake City neighborhood.

On March 31, at about 2:45 p.m., patrol officers saw the pair dealing drugs out of a black dodge charger in the 12500 block of 33rd Avenue Northeast. Police arrested the pair without incident and impounded their car to the vehicle processing room.

Officers recovered $76,040 in cash, 324g of fentanyl, 81.7g of meth, and 5g of crack cocaine during both the arrest and the search of the vehicle, which occurred on April 13.

The dealers are also suspected of being involved in a recent armed carjacking. Additional charges may be added as detectives complete their investigation.

Police booked the suspects, a 33-year-old woman, and a 41-year-old man, into the King County Jail for possession with intent to distribute narcotics.

Detectives in the Narcotics Unit are assigned to this case.
