At 1430 hours, Officers were attempting to place a suspect under arrest for felony harassment. The suspect resisted arrest and kicked an Officer multiple times. A Taser was successfully deployed and the suspect was taken into custody without further resistance. The suspect was booked into KCJ.
#2026-12460/South Precicnt/Second Watch/ S3:
At 0627 hours, SPD ICAC, with the assistance of SPD, FBI and Bellevue SWAT, conducted a search warrant and arrest operation in Sam Sector. The suspect was on EHM for a pending case involving multiple violent crimes and was known to possess firearms. Despite multiple attempts from SWAT and HNT to gain compliance, the suspect refused to communicate or exit the house. After several hours, the suspect was located in the attic and was taken into custody without further incident. The suspect was booked into the King County Jail for the possession and distribution of CSAM (Original report: 26-065873).
#2026-125131/West Precinct/Third Watch/Q3:
At 2007 hours, three officers conducted a citywide High Visibility Emphasis patrol for Cinco de Mayo, funded by the Washington Traffic Safety Commission. The officers contacted 27 drivers, issued 19 citations including one for 73MPH in a 25MPH zone (2026-125131), made three arrests, and prevented a DUI via timely 911 response (2026-125262).
