At 0956 hours, a parent of adolescent son in crisis called 911 stating that son is autistic and not taking medication. The parent stated that son made vague threats and armed himself with a knife but did not threaten anyone with it. They left the apartment unit and met officers outside. Containment was set up and HNT responded along with CRT. It was later discovered that the subject in crisis had left the apartment out a back window prior to officers’ arrival. After a short amount of time, the subject was located and sent to hospital on ITA with no further altercation.

At 1200 hours, the suspect punched her girlfriend in the face multiple times then pistol whipped her girlfriend twice in the face. The suspect fled in a vehicle when the victim called 911. The suspect was located a few hours later parked in her vehicle with crack cocaine. The suspect was arrested and was highly combative while being placed under arrest. The suspect was medically declined from KCJ and is currently under hospital guard. The suspect’s vehicle was impounded to obtain a search warrant for the firearm that is likely inside the suspect vehicle. The suspect is a convicted felon. DV Unit notified.
