At about 0424 hours, North Precinct Officers reported hearing a volley of shots to the southwest of the precinct parking lot. This was then followed by several 911 calls reporting shots fired. Officers responded to the area of North 98th Street and Linden Avenue North. Police arrived and found evidence in the intersection. A witness who wanted to remain anonymous reported that two white SUVs were seen shooting at one another in the intersection. Officers located several vehicles nearby that were struck by gunfire in the panels and windshields. A home was also stuck by a bullet. No one was injured during the incident. Officers processed the scene, took extensive photographs and collected video evidence from nearby residential cameras.

At 0826 hours, a 911 call came in reporting that a driver shot a gun from their vehicle while driving near the intersection of Nw 80 St / 28 Av Nw. Officers responded to the location but did not locate the vehicle, shell casings, any victims of evidence that could be processed.
