At 0218 hours, a call came into 911 regarding shots having been heard. The caller, who wished to remain anonymous, indicated that they heard a volley of about 6 shots followed closely by an additional 3. Officers arrived on the scene and evidence scattered about Holyoke Way South and 68th Avenue South. It appears the suspect was shooting into the green space. No property damage or victims were located or reported. GVRU was notified and South Patrol processed the scene.

At 1500 hours, witnesses reported seeing a male threatening another male with a firearm. Officers quickly responded, locating witnesses and the victim. During an area check the suspect was located and taken into custody. A firearm was recovered at the arrest location. Officers then learned that the suspect had followed the victim after a verbal confrontation, then struck the victim with the firearm when the victim tripped and fell to the ground. GVRU notified.

At 1550 hours, officers responded to multiple reports of shots fired near 8th Ave and Fir St. Officers arrived and located a shooting scene on the sidewalk, but no indication of injuries or property damage. Witnesses reported the parties involved possibly ran inside two different nearby apartment buildings. Officers obtained video of the shooting incident, which showed one of the suspects entering a specific apartment. That suspect was contacted and identified, but probable cause could not be established to arrest him for the shooting. Firearm related evidence and clothing were recovered from the apartment. No victims were located. GVRU responded to the scene.

At 1816 hours, officers were dispatched to the downtown area for an assault and possible kidnaping. Per witnesses, they observed a male and female in a physical altercation in an alley next to a parked grey Honda HRV. The female began to walk away and was grabbed by the male suspect and escorted back to the Honda. The vehicle was last seen traveling east from the location. Officers conducted an area check and were unable to locate the vehicle. RTCC provided an image of the area.

At 1851 hours, officers responded to the area of Hamlet Avenue South and Seward Park Avenue South to reports of multiple gunshots being heard within the area. Upon arrival officers were able to contact witness who stated that an unknown male wearing a grey hoodie and a face mask was standing in the street firing a handgun in a westerly direction at unknown person(s). Officers were able to locate evidence from the street. An area search for any injured person(s) met with negative results. GVRU detectives were notified of incident.

At 2144 hours, officers responded to the area of 26th Avenue and East Fir Street for a report of a female heard screaming at a male and then a single gunshot was heard. Officers located the scene in the 2500 block of E Fir St. It is unclear as to what happened as the involved female and males were not located, and as of writing this SIR, no walk-ins to hospital. Officers located evidence. Incident was screened with GVRU. Patrol processed the scene.

At 2232 hours, two suspects entered the store one approached the clerk and asked for an item once the clerk turned to get the item, the other suspect jump over the counter produced a box cutter and demanded the money. They then left in an unknown direction. Robbery was notified.
