At 1626 hours, a caller to 911 reported that a slur had been keyed into their car at an unknown time while it was parked. Officers responded and observed the slur carved into the vehicle’s paint. The caller, however, did not answer on callback and could not be contacted. Photos were taken and a case number was left on the victim vehicle. It’s unknown if the vehicle owner identifies as a protected class that would have been the target of the slur.
