At 0313 hours a K9 Unit was in the vicinity of N 100th and Aurora Ave N, heard approximately 14 shots coming from the Northwest of their location. The officer observed numerous vehicles leave the area at a high rate-of-speed. Responding officers conducted an area check and located multiple shell casings in the 900 Blk of N 102 St. No property damage or victims were located.

At 1045 hours, a group of 15 people walked into the REI Store 222 Yale Av N., Seattle, WA to protest for worker rights. The store manager called 911 and requested that SPD to remove and arrest everyone for trespassing. Officers arrived and communicated with the Organizer. After the announcement, everyone left the store without incident. However, one person refused to leave and was arrested for criminal trespass. The arrestee was escorted out of the store and formally trespassed. The arrestee was I&R’d. No damage or disturbance reported. Car 21 and POET advised.

At 1244 hours, the suspect was upset how the bank was handling a fraud call, he threatened to come in and shoot up the bank, stating that he hated Israel and the United States. The bank waited 20 minutes before calling 911. Bias screened with 213.

At 1844 hours, officers responded to a stabbing in the 4500 block on 16 Ave NE. Officers arrived on scene to find one “alleged” stabbing victim with a small superficial wound to the left shoulder blade. It was determined that two subjects entered into an argument that eventually led to the alleged stabbing of the victim. The victim in turn pulled out a fixed blade knife and began stabbing the back of the suspect’s vehicle repeatedly as it drove from the scene. victim refused treatment beyond basic aid from SFD. The suspect and the suspect’s vehicle are still outstanding.
#2026-141731/West Precinct/Third Watch/K1:
At 2240 hours, an SPD Detective working out of HQ discovered that his vehicle was broken into at the secure garage and his ballistic vest stolen. The suspect left behind personal property and a tentative ID has been made. Additionally, a pistol magazine was also taken. At the time of the report the security cameras inside of the garage were inaccessible.
