At 1541 hours, summer noise complaints regarding amplified noise in Magnuson Park restarted today with complaints originating across the lake in Kirkland. North units responded to find approximately 15-20 cars parked in the posted no-parking zones along the sides of the lanes reserved for traffic entering the boat ramp area. A speaker wall was found in the cargo area of an SUV, which was the source of the noise complaint. Verbal warnings were given for all violations noted by officers, and individuals were compliant. An accompanying City Park Ranger issued a citation at the boat ramp itself, and a traffic stop in the boat ramp area led to a vehicle impound for trip permit and registration violations. (2026-146167)
