At 2313 hours, officers responded to Boren Avenue South and South Main Street on an auto pedestrian collision. Officers arrived as SFD was treating the unconscious pedestrian. The pedestrian was struck while crossing Boren Avenue South. SFD informed officers on scene that the pedestrian had significant injuries and it was unknown if he will regain consciousness. An SPD Drug Recognition Expert responded to the scene and determined no driver impairment. TCIS was screened of the incident.

At 2356, officers responded to a reported shooting at a park in the 9200 block of Woodlawn Avenue North. Video evidence was captured of a single suspect that shot several times into a wooded area before walking away. Officers checked the park on foot but were unable to locate the suspect or spent casings.
