#2021-30396/South Precinct/Second Watch:
On 02-05-2021 at 1216 hours, officers responded to a call of an individual who had located his unreported stolen vehicle in the SODO neighborhood. Officers arrived on scene and located the reporting party, the stolen vehicle and the suspect, whom they detained. After an investigation, officers placed the suspect under arrest for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle and recovered the vehicle, returning it to the reporting party. The suspect was booked into King County Jail for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle as well as an outstanding felony warrant for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle.
#2021-030858/East Precinct/Third Watch:
On 02-05-2021 at 2122 hours, officers responded to an in-progress forced entry burglary to the common area of an apartment building. They located a suspect attempting to flee the scene and were able to take him into custody. As they were walking the suspect to a patrol vehicle, he kicked an officer in the leg. No injury beyond transient pain was reported by the officer due to the assault. Suspect was booked for burglary and assault.
