#2023-331007/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0254 hours, officers conducted a traffic stop on a scooter without license plates. The operator pulled over and it was discovered the scooter was stolen. Search incident to arrest, police located and recovered two firearms from the suspect, one with an obliterated serial number. The suspect was booked into KCJ for multiple felony and misdemeanor crimes.
#2023-331119/North Precinct/First Watch:
At 0731 hours, officers responded to the 12200 block of Aurora Avenue North regarding a male who was stabbed. Units arrived, quickly located the suspect, and took him into custody. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to HMC via AMR.
#2023-331535/South Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1442 hours, a male suspect threatened the lives of multiple employees at a local mental health housing facility. The suspect used racial slurs and implied that he had a firearm. The victims feared for their lives and felt that the suspect had a racial motivation for his actions. The suspect threatened suicide by cop when telephonically contacted by patrol officers. HNT and SWAT responded to the scene. A warrant was served, and the suspect was taken into custody without incident.
