Detective Renee Witt

I’ve been with the SPD for almost 20 years. I’ve worked various assignments throughout the department; my favorites being Recruiter, Field Training Officer and Patrol. I’ve worked as a department Spokesperson for over 5 years and this has been by far my most challenging assignment.

I work very hard to balance my professional and personal life. Some of my favorite pastimes are running, yoga, shopping, playing Scrabble, traveling, reading and spoiling my Maltese-Bichon, who is the cutest dog in the world.

Prior to joining SPD, I was an active duty member of the US Navy stationed at Naval Sub Base Bangor, where I was assigned to the training facility.
